“The California Fire Plan, Annual Updates and Opportunities for Information Contributions”

11:00 a.m. Guest Speakers: Matt Triggs and Dan Teater (U.S. Forest Service, Tahoe National Forest, American River Ranger District): “Lessons Learned from Star Fire Pre and Post Monitoring”
11:45: ARWG Updates on Current Priority Watershed Issues:
1) Watershed Assessment (CABY, Sediment Risk Study, Auburn Dam, ASRA General Plan)
2) Fuel Reduction and Forest Management
3) Climate Change – preparing for it
4) Water Quality – is it getting better?
5) Fisheries – what do we know about them? What can we do to learn more?
